This year marks eleven years since hundreds of cyclists pedaled to the most exciting road race in Romania!

We have designed a course worthy of a classic race, which will keep you connected at all times and offer you more possibilities to approach the race and choose the moments to attack.

The route is changed compared to last year, wanting to offer you a varied terrain, with many relatively short but demanding climbs and with a finale specially tailored for punchers.

The real start will be at the exit from DN6 towards the village of Tapia. You will cover the first 16 kilometers on a relatively flat road, slightly uphill.

If you want to initiate an escape, this is the perfect terrain to get ahead of the peloton on the first climb of the day. This is the climb to the village of Crivina, 1.6 kilometers long, with an average slope of 5%.

In Crivina, there is a steep descent, after which, immediately after leaving the village, there is a false flat with a slight climb until kilometer 28.7. Here begins the second climb of the day, 2.9 kilometers, with an average gradient of 4%. Throughout the climb you will be protected from the sun's rays, as the road passes through the Nădrag forest.

The descent that follows ends at kilometer 40.5, in the village of Fârdea. From here you turn right and head towards the fork at Gladna Montană where 11 kilometers of false flat climbing begin, and from the village of Zolt the gradient begins to intensify slightly until kilometer 53.4 where the hardest climb of the day begins: the Urcare 22 segment, 600 meters with an average gradient of 18.3%. Then follows the descent from Luncanii de Sus of 3.5 km.

You reach Luncanii de Jos where a gentler 10.5 km descent begins to the village of Tomești, where you turn sharply to the right and begin a new 1.26 km climb with a 6.7% gradient.

From Baloșești, the road descends gently for 14 km to the town of Făget, from where you turn left to the Urcarea de la Scaune 2.54 km with a 3% gradient. You descend to Drăgșinești, where you begin a new 1.17 km climb with an average gradient of 7.1%.

You reach Fârdea again, then follow the undulating road in front of Lake Surduc and descend to Surducu Mic. From here there are 23 km to the finish, the hard part starting 6 km before the finish, when the three slopes follow: the first 600 m with 8\%, the second 510 m with 10.4\% and the last, 640 m with 6.7\%.
