Moneasa mountain bike marathon 2013
Description
We invite you to the 2nd edition of the Moneasa Mountainbike Marathon event which will take place on 29.06.2013 in the Moneasa resort, Arad county. A novelty compared to the previous edition is that this year the competition was approved by the Romanian Cycling Federation, which allows the participation of competitors registered with the FRC or the related federations if the competitor is from another country.
This year, part of the route is on the Baths Road, or the road to Zelea Neagră, an old road used since the 18th century to transport iron ore from the Monese area.
The event has two routes, a 65km Marathon with a 2630m elevation gain and a 30km Hobby, 1000m elevation gain.
The registration fee is 30Ron for the Hobby route and 40Ron for the Marathon route until 28.06.2013, and on the day of the competition 40Ron for the Hobby and 50Ron for the Marathon.
