Children's Bicycle Competition!
The Bunny Marathon is powered by Prima Evadare, in partnership with the Biciclistul.ro Association. It is a friendly competition, with a low-difficulty route, which aims to promote sports among children and stimulate the competitive spirit. The competition is part of a much larger event, which is called the Bunny Factory.
The Bunny Marathon is a bicycle competition that is aimed at the following age categories of children: 5-6 years; 7-8 years; 9-10 years; 11-12 years. The route on which the competition will take place is approximately 1.2 km. The first category of junior cyclists (5-6 years) will cycle the route only once, the other categories will pedal two laps (2.4 km).
No training wheels. The route will have a climb that will raise the pulse of the little ones to the heights of glory, totally practicable, because we tested it with several children, of various ages. You should know, however, that only cyclists who do not use training wheels will be accepted in the competition.
Diplomas and medals. All children will receive a participation diploma and medals, specially created for this competition. In addition, we will have prizes for the winners and prizes that will be awarded through a raffle. We will come back with details, because we are still in discussions with potential sponsors.
The route will be marked entirely with fences from the Gendarmerie and special tape, and there will be gendarmes along it, who will ensure the security of the little ones. In addition, over 25 volunteers will make sure that the little cyclists do not get confused along the route.
Warm-up before the start. Cyclists will have a fitness specialist at their disposal, who will help them warm up before the start.
Participation fee 20 lei
The start will be on Saturday, April 27, at 10:30.
